Who operates Daybook

Daybook is a personal website operated by Damon. For privacy questions or requests, email rourember@gmail.com.

Information involved when you visit

The website does not ask you to create an account or submit your name, email address, or other contact details. It has no comments, newsletter signup, payment form, or on-site checkout. The current code does not include an analytics or advertising tracking service.

Like most websites, the hosting and content delivery provider must handle requests to deliver pages and protect the service. Depending on the deployment, Vercel or Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and security or operational logs under its own privacy notice. Daybook does not use that information to infer your store region or build an advertising profile. See the Vercel Privacy Notice and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Store-region preference

The store selector can remember your choice of US, UK, Canada, or Australia in this browser. It stores only the selected region code in local storage under the key daybook-market. The preference remains until you clear this site’s browser storage. If you have not chosen a region, the site defaults to the US store. The selected region is not sent to Daybook’s server by the current code.

Search

Search terms are included in the page URL so the results page can work and be shared. The site searches story titles, summaries, character names, topics, and selected details from the stories. It does not maintain a search-history profile, but the query may remain in your browser history and can be present in ordinary hosting request logs.

Fonts and other websites

Daybook uses fonts available on your device and does not load fonts from a separate font provider.

Pages may link to external services such as X or Amazon. Product buttons currently open Amazon US links; Daybook does not process purchases, and product links for other regional Amazon stores are not configured. If you follow an external link, that service receives your request and handles information under its own terms and privacy notice. A share link opens X; automated X publishing is not active on this site.

Your choices and this notice

You can change the selected store in the site selector or clear Daybook’s local storage through your browser settings. This notice will be updated if the site adds features that materially change how information is collected, used, stored, or shared.
